On 23 September 2007, aboard The New Sea Angler captained by Rick Powers, on a trip chartered by Rich Stallcup and Ann Dewart, we found a Short-tailed Albatross at 9 a.m. It was the first albatross of the day. It flew around the boat, providing good views and sat on the water for a while. At 10:30, we encountered another Short-tailed Albatross. There was and still is some discussion whether these two birds are the same individual or not. I've provided some photos here. The Northern Fulmar is for Jim's benefit.
